Nodo for press and creators
Nodo is a browser extension that reduces ad interruptions on Twitch streams. Free mode replaces a commercial break with the stream's own 360p feed. Nodo Pro aims to keep the selected quality during the break.
Download press kit (ZIP)Product facts
- A desktop browser extension. Install through the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, subject to the version available in each store.
- Interface in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Free mode needs no account; Pro requires an account and subscription.
- Nodo is not a VPN. On Pro, only stream-control requests use Nodo's network; video still comes from Twitch.
- Prices, free-mode duration, HD trials and payment methods may change. Check the current website offer before publishing.
Limitations to include in coverage
- Some ads may get through, and playback may freeze or fail. Full ad blocking is not guaranteed.
- Free mode uses 360p during commercial breaks. Pro may temporarily fall back to 360p when its HD route cannot resolve the break.
- Twitch changes, other extensions and browser differences can affect results. Store availability does not establish testing in every browser.
- The daily test uses a real stream with a simulated ad break. Results apply to the recorded package and scenario; they are not a real-ad blocking rate.
Permissions and data
The extension uses permissions to act on Twitch pages and requests, store preferences and connect Pro to Nodo's network. Proxy permission is used for stream-control requests. It does not ask for your Twitch password. See the security page and privacy policy for the permission list and data handling.
